Hand cues for phonetic sounds can be used to improve recognition, articulation and intelligibility of sounds and words.
Visitors can use this online phonetic hand cue system that shows a hand gesture, as well as mouth and tongue positions as a picture and you hear the sound. Practise individual sounds and then move onto syllables, words and word sequences.
Can potentially be used for prompting or for responding, as needed.
